Arnold’s To Tap First New Belgium Keg in Ohio

I’m sure you’ve heard it before but Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing lands in Ohio in a couple weeks.  To mark the occasion, Arnold’s Bar and Grill has the honor of being the first establishment pour the beer in Ohio.  They are pouring multiple beers and have lots of great giveaways to mark the event.  Read more below.

Arnold’s is beyond excited to announce that they have secured New Belgium Brewing Company’s official first tapping in the state of Ohio at 5pm on Monday, Dec 16th. We will have all three of their hugely popular flagships beers, Fat Tire, Accumulation and Ranger, on tap. Keeping in line with New Belgium’s tradition of supporting the Bicycle community, the first keg will be ceremoniously delivered by a bike parade of local Bicycles riders. Once the keg arrives revelers will be greeted with live saloon music from Todd Hepburn in the bar. For all of the Breweriana collectors, the first 100 people to order one of New Belgium’s brews will get a individually numbered, sealed and hand signed by the owner of Arnold’s and reps from New Belgium certificate stating that they were one of the first 100 people to drink a New Belgium upon it’s release in Ohio. All that, plus New Belgium reps will be in the house to talk about their beer and hand out free swag to those in attendance.

Personally, I’m a fan of New Belgium and I especially love their specialty Lips of Faith series.  Hit up Queen City Drinks to learn more about their beers.

Check out the tapping on event on my beer calendar so you can make sure to add it to your personal calendar.  Get there early for the good stuff!
