Blank Slate is bringing the bottles!
Blank Slate Brewing Company gave fans a sneak peak at three new labels for for beers that they hope to get in bottles and out to stores in April. The Triple Digit collaboration, Determination, has been the only bottle released by Blank Slate to date. This is huge news for guys like me who love Blank Slate beers but don’t get out to bars all that often. It also means I can spread the love in beer trades and help put Cincinnati on the map! Here’s the lineup thus far…
Of the three above, I’ve only had Movin’ On which is an excellent session ale. I was really hoping to see Fork in the Road, perhaps my favorite Blank Slate beer to date, but maybe we will see it make an appearance in the fall when it returns to the rotation. Hopefully this trend continues and we can see more of their beers getting the bottle treatment. If you missed it a couple of months ago, below is a roadmap of their beer releases this year. Better hurry up on finding Fork in the Road (and Fume!) and start planning your next Blank Slate beer hunt!
Also – just an FYI if you are out and about and run into a Blank Slate Awakening beer. This is a saison produced by the winner of last summer’s Beer and Sweat homebrew competition and why you won’t see it on the product list above. I haven’t sampled it yet but I hear good things from those that tried it at Cincy Winter Beerfest. These guys are apparently forming a commercial brewery called Esoteric Brewing Company so hopefully I will have more to share on that in the future.
