Fifty West to host homebrew competition
Fifty West will be hosting a homebrew competition to coincide with their annual Fifty Fest celebration on September 19, 2015. All homebrewers are welcome to enter this BJCP-sanctioned competition.
The Best of Show winner will be able to brew their recipe on Fifty West’s professional system to be poured at next year’s Fifty Fest. Also, the winning beer will be entered into the GABF Pro-Am competition.
“We know so many passionate homebrewers and are excited to see what they bring to the table. Innovation is one the pillars of our brewery was founded on, and nothing says innovation like partnering with homebrewers across the city we brew for,” said Fifty West Brewmaster Blake Horsburgh.
Entries will be accepted from August 30th until September 4th to be judged by industry experts and professional brewers, including: Kevin Moreland of Taft’s Ale House, Blake Horsburgh of Fifty West Brewing Company, Ryan Blevins of MadTree Brewing Company, Scott LaFollette of Blank Slate Brewing Company, and Adam Herrold of Rivertown Brewery.
