Mt. Carmel – Harvest Ale – 90

GRADE: 90

This is one of my new favorite fall beers simply for the fact that I taste “straw” when I take a swig. It reminds me of cool weather, bails of straw/hay, and sitting around a fire pit. It has a great dry hop finish that compliments a robust malt body. It has a fairly light body making it drinkable on Indian summer days but the 8% ABV makes it appropriate for much cooler weather. Pair it with a hearty pot roast or thick soup.

A sixer runs about $8.99 which is a steal.
