Sixpoint – Autumnation – 84
This beer completely perplexes me. It’s billed as having some pumpkin and spice but is wet-hopped with Citra at the same time. I definitely recommend letting it warm a little to the 50*F zone. I don’t detect any pumpkin but get a butt-load of spice and better. The hops are definitely there and it makes for a bitter drink with a light body. I want to love it because it’s from Sixpoint but I’m struggling getting through this four-pack of tallboys.
It has a fairly robust 6.7% ABV and says 74 IBUs. It must be the additional spices tricking my mouth into thinking it’s more.
It set me back $9.99 for the foursome.
